📋 Description

• • Support and maintain a hybrid Windows and Linux infrastructure to ensure stability, performance, and operational efficiency for Ticketmaster’s ticketing product suite across North American and international markets.
• • Partner with product and software engineering teams to enable seamless deployment of new features and platform components through automated pipelines and tooling.
• • Automate recurring tasks, deployments, and testing workflows using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, along with scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant systems that meet stringent performance and scalability demands for high-profile events and major sports tournaments.
• • Drive continuous improvements in system architecture, security, and operational processes to ensure compliance with PCI standards and internal technical requirements.
• • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the full technology stack, from infrastructure to application-level components.
• • Conduct regular infrastructure audits, identify gaps, and maintain a prioritized backlog of system enhancements and remediation tasks.
• • Create and maintain observability dashboards using Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana to monitor and uphold SLA/SLI requirements.
• • Utilize Kafka Streams for real-time data processing, with understanding of Schema Registry and Service Mesh architectures.
• • Integrate and interact with RESTful APIs to enable automation, platform extensibility, and cross-system communication.
• • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging cloud-native services for scalable and resilient platform delivery.
• • Apply configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Octopus Deploy to standardize and streamline infrastructure deployments.
• • Manage and optimize network storage technologies including NetApp and Amazon S3 for data availability and performance.
• • Leverage agentic coding tools like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex to enhance development and operational workflows.
• • Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to proactively resolve incidents and minimize operational disruption across 24/7 systems.
• • Demonstrate analytical thinking and solution-oriented judgment when selecting tools, methods, and architectural approaches for complex technical challenges.
• • Actively contribute to system design and architecture decisions aligned with business goals and technical strategy.
• • Regularly review performance, security, and quality metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions for operational excellence.
