📋 Description

• Own the operational processes that enable developers to bring apps, plugins, and integrations to market, managing the full lifecycle from submission and review through launch, appeals, and ongoing monitoring.
• Manage external review partners and policy operations workflows to ensure consistent application of platform standards while identifying gaps in guidance, process, or quality expectations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Security, Developer Experience, and Go-to-Market teams to translate platform goals and requirements into clear, scalable operating processes.
• Lead high-priority partner reviews and escalations, balancing speed to market with user trust and consistent enforcement of platform safety standards.
• Design and implement feedback loops across product, policy, tooling, and developer experience teams to reduce friction for developers and improve the quality of integrations over time.
• Lead automation and AI-driven initiatives, including agentic workflows, to enhance the speed, consistency, and scale of review and support processes.
• Serve as a senior cross-functional partner, using operational insights and platform expertise to influence product strategy and improve the overall ecosystem experience.
• Apply deep understanding of developer platforms and APIs—including MCP, OAuth, authentication, permissions, and data flows—to design operational systems that support secure and scalable integrations.
• Translate complex technical, policy, and product requirements into practical guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Think in systems rather than individual cases, identifying recurring patterns and building durable, scalable processes instead of one-off solutions.
• Exercise strong operational judgment to balance competing priorities of speed, safety, and business growth while maintaining platform integrity.
• Care deeply about the developer and partner experience while upholding consistent standards that protect users and the broader platform ecosystem.
• Drive initiatives to reduce manual work through AI and automation, improving quality and operational efficiency at scale.
• Maintain alignment across multiple teams to ensure operational processes evolve in sync with product changes, policy updates, and security requirements.
• Monitor and improve the quality of developer integrations through continuous feedback, data analysis, and process refinement.
• Act as a key liaison between OpenAI’s internal teams and external developers to ensure smooth onboarding, compliance, and ongoing platform access.
• Support the scaling of OpenAI’s developer ecosystem by building operational infrastructure that enables rapid growth without compromising trust, safety, or quality.
• Contribute to the evolution of platform policies by identifying systemic risks and recommending improvements based on operational data and developer feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in program management, developer operations, product operations, or related fields
• Comfort engaging with technical concepts such as MCP, APIs, OAuth, authentication, permissions, and data flows
• Strong operational judgment to balance speed, safety, and business priorities
• Experience using AI and automation to reduce manual work and scale operational processes
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional problems and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Security, and Operations
• Experience thinking in systems rather than individual cases, building durable processes over one-off solutions
