- • Develop high-performing interactive playable ads for Paper.io 2 using Unity, transforming core gameplay mechanics into engaging ad experiences that drive user acquisition and conversion.
- • Optimize playable ad performance for scalability, load speed, and adaptability across diverse mobile devices and ad networks, ensuring seamless user interactions within strict file size and performance constraints.
- • Design and build reusable, modular playable ad templates in Unity that can be efficiently customized by graphic designers while maintaining technical integrity and gameplay fidelity.
- • Integrate analytics and tracking solutions into playable ads to measure user engagement, retention, and interaction points, using data to inform iterative improvements and optimize conversion rates.
- • Collaborate closely with the Growth team’s creative, data, and ad operations squads to test new ad formats, mechanics, and creative hypotheses, contributing to A/B testing strategies and performance benchmarking.
- • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of hyper-casual and casual mobile game ads, identifying trends, innovative mechanics, and successful engagement patterns to inform creative direction for Paper.io 2.
- • Work within a small, cross-functional creative squad composed of international team members, contributing to brainstorming sessions, feedback loops, and rapid prototyping of new playable ad concepts.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Paper.io 2’s gameplay loop, target audience, and creative potential, ensuring all ad experiences authentically reflect the game’s core appeal and mechanics.
- • Adapt and upload playable ads to multiple third-party ad networks, ensuring technical compliance with each platform’s specifications and deployment requirements.
- • Troubleshoot technical issues related to Unity builds, web rendering, and ad network integrations, diagnosing performance bottlenecks and resolving compatibility problems across devices and browsers.
- • Contribute to process improvements by testing and recommending new tools, pipelines, or workflows to increase the efficiency and output quality of the playable ads production cycle.
- • Stay current with advancements in web-based game development, HTML5, and mobile ad technology to ensure Voodoo’s playable ads remain at the forefront of industry standards.
- • Participate in cross-team initiatives to standardize best practices for playable ad development across Voodoo’s portfolio of games, sharing knowledge and mentorship within the Growth team.
- • Translate creative briefs and game design concepts into technically sound, engaging playable ad experiences that balance fun, clarity, and conversion goals.
- • Document development processes, ad configurations, and performance metrics to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity across the team.
- • Act as a creative and technical bridge between design, data, and engineering teams to align playable ad outcomes with business objectives and user insights.
