- • Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end production of audio and video podcasts for distribution across platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and YouTube.
- • Develop episode outlines, scripts, and detailed production schedules to ensure consistent content delivery and brand alignment.
- • Manage guest outreach, booking, and pre-recording briefings to facilitate smooth and professional interview sessions.
- • Oversee both remote and in-studio recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio performance and technical standards are met.
- • Liaise directly with audio and video engineers to capture clean, multi-track raw recordings for post-production.
- • Review and edit rough cuts of episodes for narrative flow, clarity, pacing, and stylistic consistency with brand guidelines.
- • Ensure professional audio quality through leveling, noise reduction, compression, and final mixing of all podcast episodes.
- • Upload finalized audio episodes to podcast hosting platforms including Libsyn and Anchor, verifying proper metadata and artwork integration.
- • Collaborate with the YouTube marketing specialist to adapt audio episodes into YouTube-optimized video content with engaging visuals, chapter markers, and thumbnails.
- • Provide feedback on video edits, timing, and on-screen elements to ensure alignment with podcast tone and audience expectations.
- • Publish and optimize YouTube episodes by crafting compelling titles, descriptions, tags, and custom thumbnails to maximize discoverability.
- • Schedule and distribute episodes across all major podcast directories and YouTube with precise timing and platform-specific formatting.
- • Conduct quality assurance checks on all published episodes to verify links, artwork, show notes, and platform compliance.
- • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including downloads, listen duration, watch time, and audience engagement to inform content strategy.
- • Report data-driven insights on episode performance to the media team for continuous improvement and audience growth.
- • Maintain and refine production workflows, checklists, and style guides to standardize processes and reduce errors.
- • Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools, software, or techniques to streamline podcast production and improve team efficiency.
- • Work closely with hosts, editors, and marketers to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand consistency across all podcast episodes.
- • Adapt production workflows to accommodate an expanding slate of shows and a growing global audience.
- • Operate in a remote-first environment with flexibility to manage schedules across time zones while maintaining high output standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years’ experience producing and managing podcasts end-to-end
- • Comfortable with both audio platforms (e.g. Libsyn, Anchor) and YouTube workflows
- • Strong project-management skills and attention to detail
- • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- • Familiarity with audio-editing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.)
- • Basic video-editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
