📋 Description
- • The Portfolio Account Executive is responsible for building, contracting, and growing a high quality portfolio of education providers that power the Workforce Edge (WFE) Marketplace, playing a critical role in ensuring the marketplace delivers meaningful workforce outcomes for employer clients.
- • Day to day, the role involves owning the full lifecycle of provider partnerships—from sourcing and onboarding to performance optimization—serving as the primary point of contact for assigned education providers, translating performance data into actionable recommendations, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve partnerships and expand offerings.
- • The role operates within Strayer University, Inc., part of Strategic Education, Inc. (SEI), collaborating closely with Portfolio Strategy, Enterprise Solutions, and Product teams to align provider offerings with employer demand, marketplace strategy, and growth objectives in a remote-first environment.
- • In this role, the individual can develop deep expertise in education provider ecosystems, strategic partnership development, contract negotiation, and data-driven performance optimization, while contributing to workforce outcomes at scale and advancing their career in business development and partnership management within the education technology sector.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-6 years of experience in higher education partnerships, business development, or related fields
- • Strong understanding of the education provider ecosystem and workforce development trends
- • Strategic partnership development and consultative selling skills
- • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities
- • Contract negotiation and stakeholder management experience
- • B.A, B.S or equivalent work experience required; Advance Degree preferred
