- • The Portfolio Manager leads a profitable product line and develops strategic business plans for Cengage’s Career and Technical Education portfolio in the School market, directly impacting student and instructor success through innovative learning solutions.
- • Day to day, the role involves using data to make market-informed business proposals, translating priorities into end-to-end development plans with budgets and resources, providing project team direction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Learning Design, Content Production, Marketing, Sales, and Technology to ensure timely delivery of multiple products.
- • The person will represent the portfolio and customers across audiences, cultivate creativity and collaboration, establish relationships with key authors and adoption decision makers, and partner with Marketing and Sales to seed and secure adoptions.

🎯 Requirements
- • BA or BS Degree
- • Minimum 5 years in product management, product development, or other relevant portfolio management role
- • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills and an understanding of business metrics
- • Cross-functional team leadership experience
- • Ability to clearly articulate vision and strategy and help team members understand how their work impacts business success
- • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
