  • • Independently manage the full Portuguese payroll cycle end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate execution in alignment with agreed processing calendars and KPIs.
  • • Perform data management and customer service activities as required, adhering to established timelines and service standards.
  • • Support statutory reporting and year-end payroll compliance activities in accordance with Portuguese legal requirements and internal deadlines.
  • • Provide expert guidance to clients on payroll-related queries and issues, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Portuguese labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • • Respond to client tickets and calls within defined SLA timeframes while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • • Participate in system maintenance testing to ensure payroll platform reliability and accuracy.
  • • Liaise with third-party vendors and external agencies to facilitate payroll processing and compliance obligations.
  • • Complete SOC controls with proper documentation and evidence to meet audit and compliance requirements.
  • • Contribute to root cause analysis of payroll errors and propose actionable preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
  • • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for apprentices and associates on payroll, data management, and customer service processes.
  • • Maintain and update DWIs (Detailed Work Instructions) to ensure all procedures reflect current service standards and regulatory changes.
  • • Accurately report all system defects and issues through proper ticketing systems with sufficient detail for application teams to investigate.
  • • Identify and escalate any deviations from the standard scope of service to the Service Manager promptly.
  • • Handle sensitive and confidential employee and payroll data with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
  • • Accurately record and submit time tracking entries in compliance with company policies.
  • • Fully comply with STRADA’s security standards and data protection policies at all times.
  • • Actively participate in team meetings, raising operational issues and improvement opportunities to the Service Manager.
  • • Stay current with all internal Strada communications, announcements, and policy updates.
  • • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across business lines.
  • • Provide timely and accurate updates to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • • Contribute to cross-functional projects and assigned initiatives as required by the business.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 3 years of experience managing the full Portuguese payroll cycle
  • • Solid understanding of Portuguese payroll regulations and processes
  • • HRIS knowledge: SAP HR
  • • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
  • • High attention to detail and accuracy
