Your primary objective will be to drive awareness, cultivate excitement, build trust, and enhance the overall reputation of Tide among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and relevant stakeholders.
- • You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR and communications plans tailored to Germany, ensuring alignment with Tide's global mission and objectives. This involves deeply embedding yourself within the local German teams and fostering strong relationships with external partners and influencers.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to build and maintain a robust news pipeline, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for impactful product launches, company milestones, and strategic announcements. You will craft compelling narratives that resonate with the German business community and media landscape.
- • You will lead and support targeted German-focused campaigns, with a particular emphasis on key areas such as fintech innovation, female entrepreneurship, and small business advocacy. The goal is to significantly expand Tide's share of voice and establish the company as a thought leader in these domains.
- • Managing relationships with tier-one and industry-specific media outlets will be a core responsibility. You will act as the primary point of contact for the German Press Office, expertly handling all media interactions, inquiries, and requests to ensure positive and accurate coverage.
- • Close collaboration with Tide's Country Manager in Berlin is essential. You will also partner with C-Suite executives, designated spokespeople, and brand ambassadors to ensure consistent, compelling, and impactful messaging is delivered across all earned media channels.
- • A critical part of your role involves anticipating potential issues and proactively managing complex situations to safeguard and strengthen Tide's reputation. This requires a keen understanding of the media landscape and potential reputational risks.
- • You will work cross-functionally with various internal teams, including Marketing, Product, Member Support, Legal, and Finance. This collaboration is vital to translate strategic initiatives into influential PR outcomes and ensure a cohesive brand message.
- • You will support the Global Director of Communications, Social Media Manager, and Internal Communications teams to scale and integrate best practices in PR across the entire organization. This includes contributing to the development of company-wide communication strategies as Tide continues its rapid growth.
- • Establishing strong processes and comprehensive documentation for PR activities in Germany will be part of your remit, ensuring scalability and efficiency as the company expands.
- • You will identify, source, and support participation in key events, webinars, conferences, and roundtables. This includes overseeing the logistical aspects, content development, and coordinating with the Country Managing Director, Country Operations Lead, and Marketing/Partnerships teams to ensure high-quality delivery of speaker engagements and event management.
- • Ultimately, you will own Tide's messaging, commentary, and all PR content specifically for the German market, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
