Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Crogl Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practitioner Community Lead, Security to join our innovative team. This is a unique, full-time, remote position based in the United States, designed for individuals who are deeply embedded in the world of security analysis and eager to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and the practitioners who use it.
- • This role is intentionally distinct from a traditional marketing position. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted, focusing on three core pillars: cultivating a trusted practitioner community around Crogl, developing practical use cases and essential skills within the product, and generating compelling technical demo content that effectively showcases Crogl's capabilities.
- • You will serve as the primary external representative of Crogl to working security analysts, meaning a deep, hands-on understanding of their daily challenges is paramount. If you have a background in running Security Operations Centers (SOCs), building sophisticated detection rules, actively combating alert fatigue, or have spent countless hours meticulously tracing context across multiple disparate tools, this role is tailor-made for your expertise.
- • OWN THE PRACTITIONER COMMUNITY:
- • Spearhead the development and active management of Crogl's community presence across critical online platforms, including Slack communities, industry forums, and other relevant groups where security analysts actively engage.
- • Actively facilitate technical discussions, encouraging analysts to share their unique use cases, effective troubleshooting methodologies, and advanced detection strategies specifically leveraging the Crogl platform.
- • Represent Crogl at significant industry events, conferences, and local meetups. This will involve staffing the company booth, delivering impactful technical demonstrations, and engaging in substantive, technically-driven question-and-answer sessions with attendees.
- • Design, implement, and manage programs specifically aimed at nurturing early adopters and transforming them into enthusiastic brand advocates. This includes onboarding them effectively, celebrating their achievements, and amplifying their contributions and voices within the broader community.
- • BUILD SKILLS AND USE CASES IN THE PRODUCT:
- • Develop and integrate practitioner-grade skills, workflows, and comprehensive use cases directly within the Crogl platform. This encompasses everything from advanced detection workflows to detailed investigation playbooks and a wide array of intermediate functionalities.
- • Collaborate closely with the engineering and product management teams to rigorously test new features, identify any points of friction or usability issues, and provide constructive feedback to enhance the product's overall efficacy.
- • Act as a crucial voice for the practitioner within product planning cycles. This involves translating the real-world needs and challenges faced by security analysts into clear, actionable, and well-defined product requirements and feedback for the development teams.
- • CREATE TECHNICAL DEMO CONTENT:
- • Contribute significantly to the creation and ongoing maintenance of realistic, customer-centric demo scenarios. These scenarios should accurately reflect how customers actually utilize the product in their day-to-day operations, moving beyond overly sanitized or simplified marketing demonstrations.
- • Produce engaging, hands-on walkthroughs and interactive content designed to provide prospective customers with a tangible experience of Crogl's capabilities before they commit to a full implementation.
- • Author technically credible and insightful content, including detailed implementation guides, insightful blog posts, informative Medium articles, engaging Reddit posts, and practical application notes. The focus will be on demonstrating deep technical understanding and practical application, rather than superficial awareness.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact how security professionals interact with and benefit from Crogl's technology, by building a strong, engaged community and ensuring the product meets the rigorous demands of the security landscape.
