Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the technical win for Altair Graph Studio and Altair Graph Lakehouse across the full sales cycle—from first discovery call to signed contract—by translating complex data, AI/ML, and knowledge-graph concepts into clear business value for Fortune 1000 prospects in North America.
- • Lead deep-dive discovery workshops to map each prospect’s AI maturity, existing data lakes, governance frameworks, and strategic AI roadmaps; surface hidden pain points and quantify the ROI of replacing brittle ETL pipelines with a semantic knowledge-graph layer that accelerates Agentic AI initiatives.
- • Architect end-to-end solution blueprints that show how Altair Graph Studio ingests multi-modal enterprise data, enriches it with ontologies, and feeds LLMs and autonomous agents with contextual, hallucination-resistant knowledge—delivering live demos, POCs, and technical proofs that compress sales cycles by 30-40%.
- • Partner with Account Executives to craft tailored business cases: build TCO models, benchmark performance against Snowflake, Databricks, and Neo4j, and co-present to C-suite stakeholders on how Siemens’ low-code + knowledge-graph stack future-proofs their AI investments.
- • Act as the voice of the customer inside Siemens DISW: translate field feedback into product requirements, influence the Altair roadmap, and collaborate with engineering on upcoming features for vector search, real-time graph analytics, and LLM fine-tuning.
- • Design and deliver hands-on enablement for sales, partners, and system integrators—creating reusable demo assets, Jupyter notebooks, Terraform scripts, and reference architectures that scale presales productivity across the global team.
- • Stay ahead of the AI curve: evaluate emerging standards (RDF-star, GraphRAG, LangChain integrations), publish technical blogs and speak at industry events, positioning Mendix and Siemens as thought leaders in the intersection of knowledge graphs and generative AI.
- • Travel up to 30% to customer sites, conferences, and Siemens innovation centers; otherwise enjoy a remote-first culture anchored in Boston with quarterly on-site strategy sprints.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles selling complex data platforms, graph databases, or AI/ML infrastructure to enterprise clients.
- • Hands-on expertise with graph technologies (RDF/SPARQL, labeled-property graphs, Gremlin/Cypher), cloud data lakes (AWS S3, Azure ADLS, GCP GCS), and distributed query engines (Spark, Trino, Presto).
- • Demonstrated ability to map business problems to technical solutions and present ROI to both technical architects and non-technical executives.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree or relevant certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect, Neo4j Certified Professional) preferred.
- • Comfortable writing Python or SQL for data manipulation and demo automation; familiarity with low-code platforms and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary of $150k–$230k plus uncapped commission and Siemens equity, putting total compensation in the top quartile for presales roles in Boston.
- • Remote-first work environment with a $1,500 annual stipend for home-office upgrades and co-working memberships, plus 20 days PTO and 12 company holidays.
- • Comprehensive benefits package: zero-premium medical, dental, and vision for employees and dependents, 401(k) with 6% match, and up to $5,250/year tuition reimbursement.
- • Access to the Siemens Learning Campus and Mendix Academy for continuous upskilling, plus an annual $3,000 professional-development budget for conferences, certifications, and advanced AI courses.
