📋 Description

• As a Presales Cybersecurity Advisor (Cisco-Splunk) at Optiv Security Inc., you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, designing advanced security solutions using Cisco and Splunk technologies to build scalable, defensible security programs aligned with client initiatives.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving pipeline generation for Cisco and Splunk-related opportunities, maintaining expert knowledge of client environments, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, leading solution scoping and proposal management, articulating technical value to executive stakeholders, collaborating with service delivery and internal teams, and promoting Optiv’s portfolio through thought leadership at events and via social media.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience
• Minimum of ten (10) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, team leader, director and/or higher
• Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls as it pertains to Cisco and Splunk
• Vendor specific certification(s) focused primarily on Cisco and Splunk and related industry certification areas of CoE focus
• CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications that may relate to Cisco and Splunk
• Ability to travel within US and Canada, as well as internationally as needed
