- • Serve as a technical expert in presales engagements for Mendix’s low-code platform within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry, demonstrating how Mendix enables rapid application development to accelerate digital transformation.
- • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, identify use cases, and design tailored low-code solutions that address specific BFSI pain points such as regulatory compliance, legacy system integration, and customer experience modernization.
- • Conduct live product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions showcasing Mendix’s visual development environment, drag-and-drop functionality, and seamless integration capabilities with enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, and core banking platforms.
- • Educate prospects on Mendix’s enterprise-grade features including security protocols, scalability, governance controls, and DevOps pipelines that meet the stringent requirements of financial institutions.
- • Translate complex technical capabilities into business value for non-technical stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, and business unit leaders, emphasizing speed-to-market, cost reduction, and cross-functional collaboration between IT and business teams.
- • Provide technical guidance during the evaluation phase by answering architectural questions, outlining deployment options (cloud, hybrid, on-premise), and aligning Mendix’s platform with client IT roadmaps and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS).
- • Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback, emerging industry trends, and competitive insights to influence product roadmap priorities for the BFSI vertical.
- • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation that clearly articulate Mendix’s competitive advantages over traditional development approaches and other low-code platforms.
- • Stay current on BFSI industry innovations, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML, automation, and digital identity to position Mendix as a strategic partner in financial services innovation.
- • Partner with global Mendix teams to leverage best practices, case studies, and success stories from clients like Zurich Insurance, Ford Auto, and Freshfields to build credibility and drive adoption.
- • Support post-sale handoff by ensuring smooth transition of technical context to implementation teams, reducing ramp-up time and increasing customer success outcomes.
- • Represent Mendix at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops focused on low-code, digital transformation, and fintech innovation within the BFSI sector.
- • Maintain deep knowledge of Mendix’s platform architecture, including model-driven development, microservices, API connectivity, and AI-powered automation features embedded within the platform.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, building long-term relationships based on technical expertise, industry insight, and a commitment to solving real business challenges.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Presales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant in the BFSI industry
- • Demonstrated expertise in low-code or no-code platforms, enterprise software integration, or application development lifecycle tools
- • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, compliance frameworks, and legacy system landscapes (e.g., core banking, insurance policy systems)
- • Ability to conduct technical demonstrations, build PoCs, and articulate complex solutions to both technical and executive audiences
- • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise APIs
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with a track record of closing complex technical sales
