- • The Presales Security Advisor serves as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients, combining sales expertise with deep security knowledge to design tailored, scalable security solutions aligned with client initiatives and business goals.
- • Day to day, the role involves driving service and technology sales to meet quota objectives, understanding client security environments, identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities, articulating Optiv’s portfolio value to stakeholders, collaborating with service delivery and internal teams, participating in account planning and proposal management, and maintaining advisory relationships with clients and technology partners.
- • Optiv is a leading cybersecurity solutions provider that empowers clients to manage and mitigate risk through an integrated ecosystem of people, products, and partners, with a strong commitment to inclusion, innovation, and client success.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in one or more security domains, develop advanced consultative sales and solution design skills, influence enterprise security strategy, and grow as a trusted advisor shaping defensible security programs for diverse clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
- • Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer with expertise in at least one of the following domains: Data Protection & AI, Cloud Security/DevSecOps, Endpoint Security, Identity, Network Security, Offensive Security, Operations (SOC, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence), or Strategy & Risk Management
- • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills to clients, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms
