  • • Serve as a customer-facing cloud security expert in a presales role, providing consultative guidance on data protection and cybersecurity solutions to align technology with business objectives.
  • • Collaborate with multiple levels of client stakeholders including CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, and procurement teams to understand goals and strengthen customer relationships.
  • • Develop and deliver new security service offerings in response to customer opportunities and market demands.
  • • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of SHI’s full portfolio of solution practice areas through company training and self-study.
  • • Educate internal sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling, key technologies, and value propositions through one-on-one sessions, team trainings, and company-wide workshops.
  • • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and industry developments through continuous research and analysis.
  • • Conduct independent lab work to test, validate, and demonstrate security solutions using SHI’s lab facilities.
  • • Create technical collateral such as whitepapers, presentations, and comparison matrices to support sales engagements and customer evaluations.
  • • Design and develop use cases within the SHI lab environment to showcase the effectiveness of data protection technologies in real-world scenarios.
  • • Deliver engaging, audience-tailored presentations to technical and executive stakeholders, adapting content for clarity and impact.
  • • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills by initiating discussions, resolving conflicts, and aligning technical solutions with customer constraints.
  • • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including non-technical decision-makers and IT professionals.
  • • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in documentation, solution design, and project execution to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • • Manage multiple concurrent projects with advanced organizational tools, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely delivery.
  • • Proactively identify and follow up on pending tasks to maintain workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • • Apply problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges, propose preventive measures, and innovate solutions for customer security needs.
  • • Build and expand professional relationships internally and externally to foster collaboration and team cohesion.
  • • Develop and enforce comprehensive documentation standards that enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • • Drive results by setting and achieving challenging goals for sales support initiatives and customer engagement outcomes.
  • • Travel up to 20% to client sites, partner locations, SHI offices, and industry conferences for meetings, demonstrations, and engagements.
  • • Work extended hours as needed to complete special projects or support critical customer initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role
  • • 3+ years of experience in security presales consulting
  • • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • • Intermediate knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS)
  • • Strong technical expertise in DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, USB control, file encryption, and ransomware recovery solutions
  • • Expertise in mainstream security technologies including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, Rubrik, Varonis, Sentra, and Cohesity
