📋 Description
- • Serve as a customer-facing security expert specializing in OT/IoT security, taking a consultative approach to understand client goals and align security solutions with business objectives.
- • Collaborate with multiple levels of client stakeholders including CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers, and procurement teams to strengthen relationships and uncover security needs.
- • Develop and deliver new cybersecurity service offerings in response to customer opportunities and market demands.
- • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of SHI’s full portfolio of security solutions through company training and independent self-study.
- • Educate internal sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling techniques and key technologies via one-on-one sessions, team trainings, and company-wide workshops.
- • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and market behaviors through continuous research and analysis of the cybersecurity landscape.
- • Conduct independent lab work to deepen technical expertise and validate security solutions in simulated environments.
- • Create and maintain sales collateral including whitepapers, case studies, and technical documentation to support customer engagements.
- • Develop and demonstrate use cases within the SHI lab environment to illustrate the value of OT/IoT security solutions during sales cycles.
- • Design and deliver compelling presentations tailored to executive, technical, and procurement audiences, adapting content for varying levels of technical understanding.
- • Produce detailed system and network diagrams, security architecture overviews, and technical documentation to support solution design and client communication.
- • Proactively identify potential client challenges and propose innovative, preventive security solutions.
- • Demonstrate strong follow-up discipline by tracking tasks, ensuring timely responses, and maintaining workflow efficiency across multiple concurrent engagements.
- • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to foster trust and drive repeat business.
- • Apply a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in documentation, presentations, and solution proposals, correcting inconsistencies and maintaining high-quality standards.
- • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- • Possess a passion for technology and a commitment to lifelong learning in the evolving OT/IoT security domain.
- • Engage in travel to SHI facilities, partner events, and customer sites as required to support sales initiatives and client engagements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Cybersecurity role
- • 3+ years of experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting
- • Deep security knowledge in OT/IoT space including protocol awareness, traffic analysis, asset visibility, and segmentation strategies
- • Familiarity with OT/IoT industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and SCADA
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
