- • The Presales Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor - Identity serves as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients, designing advanced security solutions in Identity Governance, Digital Access Management (MFA/SSO), Privileged Access Management, and Identity Orchestration to build scalable, defensible security programs aligned with client initiatives.
- • Day to day, the advisor participates in the Identity Field Center of Excellence, maintains deep knowledge of client security environments, identifies cross-sell/upsell opportunities, articulates Optiv’s technology and services value to senior stakeholders, drives quota attainment, stays current on industry trends, collaborates with service delivery teams, develops security roadmaps with client leadership, and promotes Optiv’s portfolio at speaking and partner events.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in identity-centric security domains, influence client security strategy at the executive level, develop a trusted advisor reputation, contribute to thought leadership, and advance both technical and sales capabilities while supporting Optiv’s quota and revenue goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree or equivalent and applicable work experience
- • Minimum of eight (8) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer focused on Identity Governance, Digital Access Management (MFA/SSO), Privileged Access Management, and Identity Orchestration
- • Strong business and technical acumen with ability to lead technology-focused discussions
- • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills for client engagements, including whiteboard sessions
- • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused on identity security specialty
- • CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications
- • Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at industry or partner events
- • Ability to hold a government-sponsored Secret Clearance
