• • The Presales Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor serves as a trusted partner to Optiv’s clients, combining deep security expertise with sales acumen to design and deliver highly defensible, scalable security programs aligned with client initiatives.
• • Day to day, the role involves driving security solution generation to meet quota objectives, understanding client environments and risk appetites, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, articulating Optiv’s technology and services value to leadership stakeholders, staying current on industry trends, collaborating with service delivery teams, maintaining advisory relationships with key client stakeholders, partnering with Optiv technology partners, designing complete security programs across domains, interfacing with internal teams to ensure solution alignment, gathering client feedback for continuous improvement, participating in account planning and proposal management, pursuing ongoing technical and soft skills development, and applying proficient sales techniques to build trust and close deals.

• • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in one or more cybersecurity domains such as Data Protection & AI, Cloud Security/DevSecOps, Endpoint Security, Identity, Network Security, Offensive Security, Operations (SOC, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence), or Strategy & Risk Management, while developing advanced consulting, solution design, and sales leadership skills. They will gain exposure to enterprise-level security strategy, influence client roadmaps, and contribute to thought leadership within Optiv’s ecosystem, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor in complex security engagements.
