📋 Description

• Join Fastmarkets as a Price Reporter specializing in Critical Minerals, a pivotal role in shaping market understanding and price discovery for essential commodities. This position offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work, based out of our Houston office, allowing you to contribute to a globally recognized leader in commodity price reporting.
• In this role, you will develop a deep and nuanced understanding of the market fundamentals, intricate supply chains, diverse end-uses, and the key players within the US and Canadian critical minerals sectors. Your focus will encompass a range of materials, including but not limited to minor metals, which are increasingly vital to global economic and technological advancements.
• A core responsibility will be the meticulous collection of pricing data. You will be guided and supported by experienced colleagues to accurately set price assessments, adhering strictly to Fastmarkets' established methodology, precise price specifications, and core principles. This process is underpinned by adherence to the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) principles, ensuring the integrity and credibility of our assessments.
• You will hone your writing skills by crafting insightful market commentaries, timely breaking news, and analytical pieces. These reports will provide crucial context and forward-looking perspectives, enhancing the value and utility of Fastmarkets' price assessments for our diverse readership, which includes participants in both physical and financial markets.
