This is a critical, full-time, remote role reporting directly to the Head of Finance, and it is central to our mission of establishing and maintaining structured pricing discipline across our enterprise SaaS contracts and execution-based deployments. The Pricing Strategy Lead will be the architect of our pricing logic, packaging strategy, and overall revenue optimization efforts, fundamentally shaping how Rwazi captures value in the market.
- • At its core, this role is about designing and implementing scalable pricing frameworks that not only reflect the true cost-to-deliver our solutions but also align with market dynamics and customer value perception. You will be instrumental in increasing our gross margins while ensuring our pricing remains competitive and attractive across various market segments. A key aspect of this mandate involves standardizing discount governance, ensuring consistency and fairness in our commercial dealings.
- • The responsibilities of the Pricing Strategy Lead span several key areas. In Pricing Architecture, you will be responsible for designing the fundamental product tiering and packaging logic that underpins our offerings. This includes defining the specific usage-based, subscription, and hybrid pricing models that best serve our diverse customer base and align with our product's value proposition. Crucially, you will ensure that the economics of our Resource Management (RM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) delivery align seamlessly with the pricing structures presented to clients, creating a win-win scenario.
- • In Revenue Optimization, your focus will be on dissecting win/loss data and discount patterns to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for increased profitability. You will establish robust approval frameworks for custom pricing requests, ensuring that any deviations from standard models are strategically sound and financially justified. Furthermore, you will proactively identify expansion and upsell monetization pathways, working closely with sales and product teams to unlock new revenue streams and maximize customer lifetime value.
- • A significant part of this role involves Competitive Pricing Intelligence. You will be tasked with conducting thorough competitive benchmarking to understand how our pricing stacks up against industry peers. This intelligence will be vital in maintaining pricing defensibility across all market segments, ensuring we are positioned effectively to win and retain business. Your insights will directly inform our strategic decisions regarding pricing adjustments and competitive responses.
