- • Serve as a trusted advisor to Optiv’s clients by designing AI-focused security solutions that align with client initiatives and enable highly defensible, scalable security programs.
- • Drive pipeline generation for AI-related services and technologies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives in collaboration with account and domain teams.
- • Adhere to Optiv’s Standardized Sales Operating Processes (SOPs) to ensure consistent sales success and client engagement.
- • Maintain expert-level knowledge of client security environments, business operations, risk appetite, and AI-related security concerns and applications.
- • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Optiv’s portfolio and partner relationships by leveraging AI security expertise.
- • Qualify, lead, and partner with internal teams to define scope, manage proposals, and close sales opportunities related to AI technology and services.
- • Articulate how Optiv’s AI technology and services portfolio meets the specific needs of executive-level client stakeholders.
- • Stay current on industry trends, emerging AI technologies, and the evolving AI threat landscape to provide thought leadership and client guidance.
- • Collaborate with service delivery teams to develop and maintain consistent, comprehensive domain-specific materials for AI security solutions.
- • Engage with multiple client personas, including CxOs, to develop AI security strategies, roadmaps, and investment plans tied to business goals and ROI metrics.
- • Maintain advisory relationships with key client stakeholders through ongoing thought leadership, support, and strategic guidance alongside sales partners.
- • Build and sustain strong relationships with Optiv technology partners aligned with client spend and Center of Excellence focus areas in AI.
- • Lead new client discussions by leveraging peer and industry networks, perform requirements analysis, select technology criteria, coordinate demonstrations, and evaluate security solutions.
- • Interface with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations with the full Optiv solution portfolio, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
- • Identify and introduce new AI technologies and products for internal enablement and client exposure.
- • Promote Optiv’s AI security portfolio through speaking engagements, partner events, industry articles, and social media.
- • Cultivate a reputation as a trusted advisor within the cybersecurity community, building an influential network of client, partner, and peer contacts.
- • Collect and relay client feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement in services and solutions.
- • Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management activities focused on growing Optiv’s AI-related pipeline, closed business, and industry mindshare.
- • Manage and prioritize the proposal process for RFI/RFP responses, business proposals, contracts, and statements of work (SOWs).
- • Pursue personal development through formal education, certifications, and training to maintain technical capabilities, security knowledge, and soft skills.
- • Apply expert sales techniques including connection-building, probing questions, objection handling, trust-building, solution positioning, and closing sales under pressure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of ten (10) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, team leader, director, or higher
- • BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience
- • Thorough understanding of the current AI threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls
- • Strong business and technical acumen with ability to lead technology-focused discussions on AI
- • CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications desired
- • Experience speaking and evangelizing AI thought leadership at industry events
