Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the strategic governance of GlobalFoundries’ Remote Manufacturing hubs in Malaysia and India, ensuring that every metric, milestone, and dollar invested translates into world-class operational excellence and measurable business impact.
  • • Define, validate, and continuously refine a balanced scorecard of Operational KPIs—yield, cycle time, capacity utilization, cost per wafer, and on-time delivery—translating complex fab data into crisp, executive-level narratives that drive rapid decision-making.
  • • Chair and orchestrate the Monthly Performance Review forum: set the agenda, secure cross-functional attendance from Fab, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Quality, and ruthlessly track action-item closure to guarantee accountability and forward momentum.
  • • Produce and present high-impact dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint; distill terabytes of fab data into clear, actionable insights that spotlight risks, opportunities, and resource re-allocation needs.
  • • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with GlobalFoundries’ worldwide fab teams to align task-transfer roadmaps, ensuring that intellectual property, tooling, and process recipes migrate seamlessly while maintaining zero disruption to customer commitments.
  • • Collaborate with Finance to lock annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets, run quarterly forecast reviews, and flag variances before they become surprises; work with HR to model head-count scenarios and ensure every hire is justified by ROI and strategic fit.
  • • Spearhead green-field project portfolios—from concept charter to full-scale rollout—by selecting the optimal project-management methodology (Agile, Stage-Gate, Lean Six Sigma) and building governance structures that scale across geographies and cultures.
  • • Act as the single point of escalation for cross-site issues, using influence—not authority—to persuade matrixed stakeholders, negotiate trade-offs, and keep remote manufacturing initiatives on schedule, on budget, and on spec.
  • • Translate highly technical semiconductor workflows into structured, easy-to-consume content for non-technical audiences, enabling faster buy-in and smoother change management across a multi-national, multi-disciplinary workforce.
  • • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by institutionalizing lessons learned, standardizing best practices, and embedding risk-mitigation checkpoints into every project phase.
  • • Anticipate and adapt to shifting business priorities—whether a sudden customer ramp, supply-chain disruption, or geopolitical constraint—by re-prioritizing resources and timelines without compromising quality or compliance.
  • • Mentor junior project coordinators and analysts, transferring deep domain knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced data analytics, and stakeholder management to build the next generation of GF leaders.
  • • Uphold GlobalFoundries’ commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring every voice is heard in project planning sessions and by proactively removing barriers that prevent under-represented groups from contributing at their fullest potential.
