📋 Description

• • As Principal, Business Operations – AI & Automation at Kraken, you will co-own the automation stack for Payward Services (Kraken’s B2B arm), acting as a force multiplier by building intelligent systems that enable a lean team to operate at scale across product, commercial, and operational domains.
• • Day to day, you will own the AI automation roadmap — identifying, prioritizing, building, and shipping agentic workflows and AI-powered tools (Claude-based assistants, automated reporting, pipeline systems, internal bots) that eliminate manual work, while stepping into ambiguous processes to bring structure, automation, and speed.
• • You will partner across Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Compliance to translate business problems into automation solutions, improve existing automations for cost efficiency and reliability, drive 0→1 initiatives from prototype to production, and establish best practices for AI tooling, prompt engineering, and workflow design across the organization.
• • The team operates within Kraken’s mission-driven, fully remote culture, with team members in 70+ countries speaking over 50 languages, united by a commitment to accelerating global crypto adoption through security, education, and world-class client support.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-native operations, gain end-to-end ownership of automation infrastructure, influence senior leadership on AI leverage, and shape the long-term vision for intelligent operations at a crypto industry leader — advancing both your technical builder skills and strategic impact.
