📋 Description

• • Shape the future of digital transformation across New Zealand and Australia as ClearPoint’s Principal Consultant. In this senior, client-facing role you will combine deep technical mastery with strategic consulting to architect and deliver large-scale, cloud-native solutions that redefine how organisations operate, compete and grow. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact engagements—from opportunity shaping and commercial modelling through to hands-on delivery and measurable capability uplift—ensuring every outcome advances both client objectives and ClearPoint’s reputation for innovation.
• • Act as the primary trusted advisor to C-suite and digital leaders, translating complex business challenges into elegant, scalable technology strategies. You will facilitate discovery workshops, roadmap future-state architectures and lead multi-disciplinary teams in building microservices, event-driven platforms and API ecosystems that unlock new revenue streams, reduce cost-to-serve and elevate customer experience.
• • Provide thought leadership that influences the wider market. You will publish white-papers, speak at industry events and contribute to ClearPoint’s Digital Advisory Practice, continuously refining our service offerings around cloud modernisation, data-driven insights, DevOps excellence and secure-by-design engineering. Your insights will directly shape go-to-market propositions and partnership strategies with AWS, Microsoft, Google and other key technology vendors.
• • Drive business growth in collaboration with the CTO and Client Directors. You will identify whitespace opportunities within existing accounts, craft compelling proposals and lead pursuit teams to win multi-million-dollar programs. Through rigorous financial governance and risk management you will ensure every engagement meets margin targets while delivering exceptional value.
• • Lead, mentor and elevate high-performing delivery squads. You will coach architects, engineers and product owners in modern engineering practices—domain-driven design, test-driven development, continuous delivery and site reliability—instilling a culture of experimentation, psychological safety and relentless improvement. Your leadership will accelerate career progression for emerging talent and strengthen ClearPoint’s employer brand.
• • Champion Agile and Lean portfolio management at enterprise scale. You will introduce OKRs, value-stream mapping and the DORA metrics to shorten lead times, increase deployment frequency and improve stability. By aligning delivery cadences with business rhythms you will create transparency, predictability and trust across stakeholder groups.
• • Embed security, compliance and sustainability into every solution. You will design zero-trust architectures, automate policy-as-code and champion green-cloud principles that reduce carbon footprints. Your guidance will help clients navigate regulatory landscapes such as NZISM, IRAP and GDPR without compromising speed to market.
