- • The Principal Consultant - Audiovisual is a senior-level technical leader responsible for delivering complex, multi-discipline projects and serving as a trusted subject matter expert in audiovisual systems and engineering.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading discipline-specific design efforts, serving as Project Lead on selected projects, ensuring profitable delivery, maintaining scope alignment, evaluating project health, identifying risks early, and keeping work on track.
- • The role involves documenting client-specific processes and deviations from TEECOM standards to support onboarding, delegation, and consistent delivery across teams.
- • The Principal Consultant strengthens TEECOM’s foundations by modeling best practices, contributing to discipline documentation, authoring Pull Requests, and supporting improvements to tools, standards, and workflows.
- • Externally, the role cultivates strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor through clear communication, reliable execution, and sound engineering judgment, while contributing to pursuits, interviews, and client discussions that strengthen TEECOM’s credibility and help win strategic work.
- • Internally, the role mentors engineers and production team members through technical guidance, design reviews, and actionable feedback that improves project outcomes and supports professional growth, despite not being a people manager.
- • The position reflects strong technical expertise, reliable project leadership, disciplined execution, and a commitment to strengthening TEECOM’s standards, systems, and delivery excellence.

- • Senior-level technical expertise in audiovisual systems design and engineering
- • Proven experience leading complex, multi-discipline projects as a Project Lead
- • Strong client-facing skills with ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor
- • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance and design reviews
- • Familiarity with TEECOM standards or similar industry frameworks for AV/IT systems
- • Ability to author Pull Requests and contribute to tool, standard, and workflow improvements
