- • Lead the development, testing, implementation, and support of clinical databases from start-up through post-lock for projects across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with project scope and client needs.
- • Guide database design, oversee programming activities, troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide system administration, and support cross-functional initiatives while mentoring junior programmers and training end users on clinical database systems and SOPs.
- • Partner with Data Management, Project Management, EDC vendors, and clients to build and validate clinical databases, develop study-specific validation documents, and support data management activities from CRF design to database close and archival.
- • Contribute to SOP and process development, participate in software vendor selection and EDC demonstrations, and influence the growth of the new regional team by providing leadership, training, and technical expertise in a high-impact, ground-up regional department opportunity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 8 years’ experience in clinical database programming or related field
- • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Professional working proficiency in English (written and oral)
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- • Experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, C++, VBS, etc.)
- • Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.)
- • Experience in clinical database management system development
- • Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development
- • Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline
- • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
