  • • As a Principal Database Programmer for Precision Medicine Group, you will lead the development, testing, implementation, and support of clinical databases across LATAM, playing a critical role in building the foundation of clinical data operations in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru.
  • • Day to day, you will guide database design, oversee programming activities, troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide system administration, forecast project needs, contribute to SOP development, mentor junior programmers, train end users, support onboarding, and collaborate with Data Management, Project Management, EDC vendors, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with SOPs and regulations.
  • • Precision Medicine Group is expanding its clinical data operations across LATAM and seeks a technical leader to shape a new regional team from the ground up, combining deep expertise in clinical database systems with leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • • In this role, you will achieve technical leadership by influencing regional database standards, mentoring junior staff, driving process improvements, and gaining exposure to global clinical research projects while advancing your expertise in CDISC standards, clinical database systems, and healthcare data management.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical database programming or related field
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • • Professional working proficiency in English (written and oral)
  • • Experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, C++, VBS, etc.)
  • • Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.)
  • • Experience in clinical database management system development
  • • Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development
  • • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • • Ability to work independently, manage time, and create plans to achieve project goals
