  • • Lead end-to-end strategic partnerships with EHR and Practice Management (PM) systems, identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing high-impact relationships aligned with Assort Health’s growth strategy and ideal customer profile.
  • • Negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements, API integrations, marketplace listings, referral partnerships, and co-selling opportunities with EHR/PM vendors and their developer ecosystems.
  • • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at major EHR/PM organizations, serving as Assort’s primary business liaison and trusted advisor within the healthcare technology ecosystem.
  • • Operate as the internal SME on the EHR/PM landscape, providing strategic insights on market dynamics, competitive positioning, incentive structures, and evolving ecosystem trends to inform GTM strategy and product roadmap.
  • • Own a quota-driven pipeline focused on generating sales-qualified opportunities through EHR partnerships, collaborating closely with specialty-specific sales teams to convert partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals.
  • • Quarterback cross-functional EHR engagements across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams to accelerate integration timelines, align on scope, and ensure seamless delivery of partner-driven solutions.
  • • Partner with Engineering and Product to scope, prioritize, and de-risk technical integrations with EHR/PM systems, translating partner requirements into actionable product initiatives.
  • • Develop repeatable systems, playbooks, and processes to scale EHR partnership engagement across the organization, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact.
  • • Represent Assort Health externally at industry conferences, partner meetings, and strategic forums with executive presence, credibility, and clarity on Assort’s value proposition.
  • • Drive measurable business outcomes including increased revenue through partner-sourced channels, improved integration velocity, and expanded distribution via EHR/PM marketplaces.
  • • Travel approximately 20–30% to attend industry conferences, meet with partner executives, and engage in key customer and PE firm meetings.
  • • Serve as a strategic advisor to Assort’s leadership on partnership models, ecosystem strategy, and long-term growth levers tied to EHR/PM integrations.
  • • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of EHR partnerships—from initial outreach and negotiation through integration, go-to-market activation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • • Translate complex healthcare infrastructure dynamics into actionable business strategies that align technical capabilities with market needs and revenue goals.
  • • Maintain deep familiarity with healthcare integration environments, including API standards, HL7/FHIR workflows, marketplace onboarding processes, and compliance requirements.
  • • Operate with urgency, ownership, and a bias toward action in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where partnership cycles are long and stakeholder alignment is critical.
  • • Contribute to shaping the future of Assort’s partnerships vertical by defining best practices, metrics, and organizational structures that enable scalable, sustainable growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6–10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within healthcare or digital health
  • • Strong familiarity with the EHR and Practice Management landscape, including direct experience working with major EHR/PM organizations and their developer ecosystems
  • • Proven track record negotiating and managing complex strategic partnerships with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • • Experience generating measurable business impact through pipeline creation, strategic distribution, co-selling, or revenue growth
  • • Exceptional relationship-building skills with high EQ, capable of building trust and credibility over extended partnership cycles
  • • Comfort operating with both executive leadership teams and day-to-day partner managers, tailoring messaging across technical, business, and executive audiences
