Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Serve as the most senior technical authority for operational electrical infrastructure across the hyperscale AI data center fleet.
- • Lead site assessments and operational audits, and drive the technical readiness of teams ahead of site activation.
- • Review designs and specifications from an operational lens, and feed operational learnings back into design and manufacturing as the build model becomes productized.
- • Own electrical operational readiness and the commissioning-to-operations handover for new sites.
- • Author and approve high-risk electrical MOPs, EOPs, and AOPs, and lead root cause analysis on significant electrical events.
- • Act as the connective tissue between operations, design, construction, hardware, and EHS, and a force multiplier across cluster leads and field engineers.
- • Operate at the scale of a nation, not a building, accelerating toward 100 GW by the end of the decade.
- • Fly the plane while it's being built, running flawless operations inside a live construction zone, adapting in real time and turning the pace of build-out into our advantage.
- • Write the playbook, don't inherit it, building one and leaving your fingerprints on how the whole company runs.
- • As we scale 100x, set the standards, shape the operating model, and grow the team by the thousands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Career running mission-critical electrical systems, coming up through the trades, the field, or both.
- • Command of the operational electrical stack: switchgear, UPS, generators, paralleling, ATS/STS, PDUs, and EPMS, in live critical environments.
- • Experience authoring and executing high-risk electrical MOPs and leading root cause analysis on significant events through closure.
- • Ability to assess operational readiness, audit the posture, and raise the standard.
- • Teaching and building the technical readiness of the teams around you ahead of activation.
- • Bonus: Hyperscale or large colocation at hundreds of MW, NETA and NFPA 70E expertise, EPMS platforms, arc-flash and electrical safety program ownership, Uptime Institute.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
- • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
- • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
- • Base salary range: $220,000 - $260,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
- • Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
