- • Principal Engineer at Foundation Healthcare, LLC, serving as the most senior individual contributor in the new Orlando hub, acting as the technical anchor alongside the VP of Engineering to shape architecture, standards, and long-term platform direction across multiple product areas.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning system design for 10-100x scalability, defining AI integration strategies across product and engineering (including voice agents and clinical workflows), collaborating with product leadership to prioritize high-leverage initiatives, and mentoring engineers to grow the next generation of technical leaders.
- • Foundation Health is transforming healthcare through an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that integrates with Electronic Health Records to eliminate outdated 90s-era workflows, improve care coordination, and deliver scalable, patient-centric solutions—already live with enterprise customers and backed by Series A funding.
- • The role offers the opportunity to build on a completely greenfield codebase with no legacy debt, make impactful technical decisions that shape the platform’s evolution over the next two years, and work directly with a VP of Engineering from DeepMind/Google in a culture that values hands-on technical contribution, autonomy, and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of building complex systems from scratch and ability to contribute directly to code when needed, not just review it
- • Strong engineering judgment with ability to balance speed and rigor, framing technical decisions in terms of business outcomes
- • Genuine AI fluency, including experience building AI-powered products and routinely using AI tooling as part of development workflows
- • High agency—proactively identifying what needs to be done and taking initiative without waiting for fully scoped tickets
- • US-based or willing to relocate to Orlando, FL (relocation support provided)
