- • As a Principal Engineer at Fuze Health/FuzeRx, you are a top-tier technical leader and individual contributor who drives the overarching technical vision and architectural strategy across the engineering organization, reporting to the VP of Engineering and operating across multiple product squads to guide the design and execution of mission-critical systems.
- • You will define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx’s core B2B and consumer platforms, lead the design and implementation of technically challenging initiatives like high-volume API integrations and distributed data consistency, and establish engineering standards across coding guidelines, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and security-by-design principles.
- • You will serve as a mentor and force multiplier for Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers, elevate engineering culture through design reviews and technical brown-bags, and collaborate deeply with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations to align technical architectures with business goals and clinical requirements.
- • You will partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA and SOC2 compliance, spearhead performance and reliability optimizations in PostgreSQL and AWS infrastructure, and continuously evaluate new tools and frameworks via proof-of-concepts to improve the FuzeRx ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- • 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design, with 3+ years at a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior architectural level driving technical initiatives across multiple teams
- • Mastery of modern cloud architectures and demonstrable, deep, hands-on expertise in AWS, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript
