• • Architect the future of identity security at planet-scale. As a Principal Engineer in Cloud Architecture you will own the technical vision for Saviynt’s multi-tenant, multi-cloud platform that protects hundreds of millions of identities for Fortune 100 companies. Your designs will directly influence how the world’s largest enterprises secure their people, assets, and infrastructure.
• • Lead end-to-end architecture for compute, data storage, pipelines, and network layers across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will author detailed design documents, build reference implementations, and set the gold standard for reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. Every decision you make will be felt across petabytes of data and thousands of micro-services.
• • Stay relentlessly hands-on. This is not an ivory-tower role—expect to spend at least 50 % of your time writing production-grade code, automating infrastructure, and debugging live incidents. You will pair-program with senior engineers, conduct deep-dive code reviews, and ship features that immediately impact customers.
• • Empower autonomous engineering teams. You will create reusable architectural patterns, self-service tooling, and golden-path templates that let product teams move fast without breaking things. Your internal platforms will reduce time-to-production from weeks to hours while enforcing security and compliance guardrails.
• • Drive long-term technical strategy. Balance quarterly delivery with a 3–5 year horizon, eliminating technical debt before it compounds. You will run architecture guilds, brown-bag sessions, and design reviews that raise the bar for the entire engineering organization.
• • Champion customer-obsessed engineering. Translate complex customer requirements into elegant technical solutions. You will regularly join customer calls, analyze real-world usage telemetry, and iterate on architectures that deliver measurable business value—lower latency, higher throughput, and bullet-proof security.
• • Own reliability and performance at scale. Define SLOs, error budgets, and chaos-engineering practices that keep our platform resilient under 10× traffic spikes. You will lead blameless post-mortems, automate runbooks, and build observability stacks that surface anomalies before customers notice.
• • Optimize cloud economics. Design architectures that cut infrastructure spend by double-digit percentages without sacrificing performance. You will model cost scenarios, negotiate reserved capacity, and implement intelligent auto-scaling that reacts to real-time demand signals.
• • Mentor the next generation of architects. Provide technical coaching to staff and senior engineers, sponsor high-potential ICs, and create career-ladder rubrics that reward deep technical excellence. Your influence will multiply across dozens of teams and hundreds of engineers.
• • Stay on the bleeding edge. Evaluate emerging technologies—serverless, edge computing, confidential VMs, zero-trust networking—and run controlled experiments that determine their fit for Saviynt’s roadmap. You will publish internal tech briefs and speak at industry conferences to share our innovations.
