- • As a Principal FP&A Analyst at Lendable Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of one of the UK’s fastest-growing fintech unicorns, directly influencing strategic decisions that drive sustainable growth and profitability across a multi-product environment.
- • You will own end-to-end financial modelling, forecasting, and performance management, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights that empower leadership to make confident, forward-looking decisions in a high-impact, fast-paced setting.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and refining sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across loans, credit cards, and car finance products, incorporating scenario, sensitivity, and stress-testing analyses to anticipate market shifts and internal risks.
- • You will design, build, and maintain dynamic analytical dashboards using modern FP&A tooling (Abacum) to surface key financial and operational metrics, enabling real-time, data-driven decision-making for product, engineering, and executive teams.
- • Acting as the primary finance partner to product, data, and engineering teams, you will establish alignment on metric definitions, data standards, and reporting frameworks to ensure a single source of financial truth across the organisation.
- • You will champion the adoption of emerging technologies, including generative AI and LLMs (such as Claude and Gemini), to automate reporting narratives, generate variance commentary, and streamline FP&A workflows — designing AI agents to handle repetitive analytical tasks and elevate team productivity.
- • Leveraging Python and SQL, you will ensure model robustness, data governance, and auditability from input to output, maintaining rigorous standards for financial accuracy and transparency.
- • You will translate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities — moving beyond reactive reporting to become a strategic advisor.
- • You will lead automation initiatives across the finance function, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions to reduce manual effort and increase forecasting precision.
- • You will thrive in a culture of ownership and intellectual curiosity, where questioning assumptions is encouraged, ambiguity is navigated with rigour, and impact is measured by the quality of decisions enabled — not just the volume of output.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related field
- • Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements with proven experience building and maintaining complex financial models
- • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and model development
- • Comfortable using generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to enhance FP&A productivity and automate reporting workflows
- • Instinctive tendency to question metric definitions and data integrity, with a rigor-first mindset in ambiguous environments
- • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, uncertain settings while maintaining analytical precision and ownership of end-to-end financial processes
