Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and deliver the next-generation user interface for Circuit’s manufacturing-focused AI platform, translating complex industrial data into intuitive, high-impact workflows that empower global OEMs, dealers, and distributors to sell, configure, and support products faster and more accurately.
- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of mission-critical features—from whiteboard sketches and Figma prototypes to pixel-perfect, production-ready React components—ensuring every interaction is accessible, responsive, and performant across desktop, tablet, and mobile contexts.
- • Drive the evolution of our frontend architecture by establishing scalable patterns, reusable component libraries, and rigorous coding standards that enable rapid iteration without accruing technical debt as the codebase and team grow.
- • Collaborate daily with Product Managers and UX Designers to clarify ambiguous requirements, surface technical trade-offs, and champion user-centric decisions that balance business goals with engineering excellence.
- • Lead by example in code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural discussions, mentoring mid-level and junior engineers on TypeScript best practices, React performance optimization, accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1), and modern CSS strategies.
- • Champion automated quality at every layer—unit tests with Vitest, integration tests with React Testing Library, and end-to-end coverage with Playwright—so releases are confident, rollback-free, and continuously deployable via GitHub Actions.
- • Optimize Core Web Vitals and perceived performance through code-splitting, lazy loading, efficient state management (React Query + Zustand), and aggressive caching strategies, ensuring sub-second load times even for data-heavy configuration workflows.
- • Establish and maintain a monorepo workflow using Turborepo, enforcing consistent linting, formatting, and dependency management across multiple packages while enabling parallel builds and incremental deployments.
- • Surface actionable insights to stakeholders by instrumenting user analytics, error tracking, and A/B testing hooks directly into the frontend, turning qualitative feedback into measurable product improvements.
- • Contribute to DevOps and infrastructure initiatives—Dockerizing micro-frontends, refining CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with backend engineers on API contracts and GraphQL schema evolution—so the entire stack remains cohesive and observable.
- • Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging frontend technologies (e.g., server components, edge rendering, advanced TypeScript features) and proposing pragmatic adoption paths that maintain velocity without compromising stability.
- • Foster a culture of psychological safety, curiosity, and velocity by sharing knowledge through internal tech talks, documentation, and cross-team guilds, ensuring Circuit remains a destination for top-tier engineering talent.
