ServiceNow is seeking a Principal Outbound Product Manager for our App Engine team to shape the future of our low-code development platform.   • • In this pivotal role, you will be the voice of the customer and the market for App Engine, a core component of the ServiceNow Platform.   • • You will be instrumental in defining the go-to-market strategy for new App Engine capabilities, working closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams. This includes crafting compelling product narratives, developing sales enablement materials, and ensuring our field teams are equipped to articulate the value proposition of App Engine to a diverse range of audiences, from citizen developers to experienced enterprise architects.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and market research to launch and ongoing iteration. You will conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence gathering, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and emerging trends. This deep understanding will fuel your ability to prioritize the product backlog and make data-driven decisions.
  • • You will champion the App Engine vision internally and externally, presenting to customers, partners, industry analysts, and at major ServiceNow events. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner will be crucial in building excitement and driving adoption.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on platform products, developer tools, or low-code/no-code development platforms.
  • • Proven track record of defining and launching successful software products, with a deep understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • • Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud computing, and modern application development paradigms.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviewing techniques.
  • • Ability to think strategically and translate market needs into actionable product roadmaps.
  • • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in development platforms is highly desirable.
  • • Experience in the SaaS industry and with platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offerings is a strong advantage.
