- • As a Principal Product Engineer at Hiive Technologies Inc., you will serve as a senior technical leader on the engineering team, driving the delivery of core product features through hands-on development and strategic guidance.
- • You will lead a small cross-functional team of 4-6 engineers, overseeing software architecture, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, timely releases while mentoring team members and elevating engineering standards.
- • You will work directly with product and engineering leadership, as well as company founders, to build a scalable, secure, and efficient platform that supports secondary transactions in private markets.
- • You will champion the adoption of AI tools to enhance development velocity and code quality, contribute to hiring efforts, and help shape a strong, inclusive engineering culture in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams of 4-6 engineers with mixed seniority across frontend, backend, and full-stack roles.
- • Hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React, and/or Elixir and Phoenix for building frontend and backend systems.
- • Substantial experience with relational databases, GraphQL, and DevOps practices including infrastructure, deployments, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
