- • As a Principal Product Manager – AI Websites, you will own the strategy and execution for our AI-powered website creation experience.
- • This role is responsible for how customers move from intent → website → live presence, using AI-driven tooling that delivers beautiful, functional sites with minimal effort.
- • You will lead the vision, vendor strategy, and experience design for AI-generated websites—from the initial prompt or vibe through customization, publishing, and ongoing optimization.
- • Product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered website creation and the end-to-end site building experience.
- • Ownership of the full customer journey—from intent capture through AI generation, editing, publishing, and iteration.
- • Integration and ongoing management of AI and third-party vendors powering site generation, design systems, and content.
- • Definition of experience standards for AI-generated sites, including layout quality, content defaults, personalization, and mobile responsiveness.
- • Partnering with engineering and design to translate AI capabilities into simple, guided workflows customers can succeed with immediately.
- • Driving site creation activation and completion, ensuring customers move from start to published site with confidence.
- • Establishing success metrics such as site creation completion rate, time-to-publish, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- • Coordinating dependencies and priorities across Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, and GTM for AI-powered features.
- • Leading launches and improvements that materially increase site creation adoption and long-term retention.
- • Providing clear updates to leadership on roadmap progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
- • Acting as a product quality bar-raiser, ensuring AI-generated experiences feel cohesive, on-brand, and production-ready.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex, customer-facing products.
- • A curiosity for keeping up with the latest AI trends and how they apply to web creation and online presence.
- • Currently evolving into the Product Manager of the future by leveraging AI tooling and prototyping concepts.
- • Deep knowledge of the web presence industry—website builders, hosting, and online digital presence.
- • Strong product intuition around experience design, workflow simplification, and usability, especially in creation tools.
- • Proven experience building products on top of third-party platforms or vendor ecosystems.
- • Experience with design concepts, user flows, and conversion rate optimization.
- • Comfort partnering with engineering on AI integration constraints, API limitations, reliability, and scale.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when aligning cross-functional teams.
- • Highly self-directed, outcome-oriented, and comfortable operating with senior-level autonomy.
- • Ability to think strategically while staying close to real customer usage and feedback.
