- • Own the end-to-end growth strategy for Quora’s core product, focusing on top-of-funnel acquisition, activation, and early retention across web and mobile platforms.
- • Drive SEO-led growth by partnering with engineering, content, and data teams to improve discoverability, indexation, and organic traffic performance as a primary acquisition channel.
- • Define strategic objectives, key metrics, and guardrails to guide prioritization, measure success, and align cross-functional teams on growth outcomes.
- • Run a high-velocity experimentation program across the user funnel using both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- • Identify, test, and scale new growth levers including referral programs, lifecycle engagement campaigns, and platform-specific opportunities to diversify acquisition channels and compound long-term growth.
- • Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and product operations teams to define, build, iterate, and scale growth-focused features and experiences.
- • Manage ambiguity and complex cross-functional interdependencies in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and execution across teams with competing priorities.
- • Interface regularly with product leadership and the executive team to influence company-wide strategy and communicate growth insights and roadmap direction.
- • Leverage data-driven decision-making to translate user behavior into actionable product initiatives that increase engagement, retention, and platform-wide growth.
- • Apply deep understanding of consumer product dynamics to optimize the user journey from first interaction through sustained value delivery on Quora’s knowledge-sharing platform.
- • Continuously analyze organic search performance trends, content visibility, and ranking factors to enhance Quora’s position as a leading source of authoritative answers.
- • Maintain a strong focus on user-generated content (UGC) dynamics, understanding how content creation, discovery, and sharing behaviors impact growth at scale.
- • Coordinate execution during Quora’s designated coordination hours (Mon-Fri, 9am–3pm Pacific Time) to enable real-time collaboration across global teams.
- • Translate user feedback and behavioral data into iterative product improvements that enhance the overall user experience and drive measurable growth outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years combined experience in Product Management
- • Demonstrated experience driving user growth on a consumer product with measurable impact on acquisition, activation, or retention metrics
- • Availability for meetings and communication during Quora’s coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am–3pm Pacific Time)
- • Excellent communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level — within teams, across the company, to users, and to other audiences
- • Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions and scale products through experimentation
- • Experience working on user-generated content (UGC) platforms, marketplaces, aggregators, or content-driven consumer products
