- • Design and implement the core automation framework for functional, API, integration, regression, and workflow testing across products, services, and AI-enabled workflows.
- • Define standards for reusable test assets, environment usage, data setup, and evidence capture to ensure consistency and scalability.
- • Create scalable approaches to testing complex, multi-system workflows that span multiple platforms and integrations.
- • Build and maintain regression harnesses for AI-enabled features, including prompt and workflow comparisons, scored evaluation runs, and benchmark execution.
- • Partner with AI quality analysts to support rubric-based testing and establish measurable release criteria for AI models.
- • Define approaches for test data strategy, including synthetic data, masked data, and scenario generation to improve test coverage and realism.
- • Improve reliability and repeatability of validation environments to reduce flakiness and increase confidence in test outcomes.
- • Work closely with software engineers to enhance testability, observability, and CI/CD integration across development pods.
- • Help teams move quality checks earlier in the development lifecycle to prevent defects and reduce technical debt.
- • Lead the adoption of cross-pod tooling standards to unify testing practices across engineering teams.
- • Design frameworks, not just individual tests, and establish organizational standards that are adopted by multiple teams.
- • Balance framework sophistication with delivery pace to ensure automation efforts align with business priorities and timelines.
- • Mentor junior engineers and quality professionals to build internal capability and promote best practices in automation.
- • Communicate complex technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining deep involvement in hands-on technical execution.
- • Operate with entrepreneurial spirit in a flat, high-growth organization that values initiative and ownership.
- • Contribute to client value creation by ensuring high-quality delivery of financial consulting solutions rooted in data, technology, and AI.
- • Maintain awareness of the relationship between private equity sponsors and portfolio company CFOs to align automation strategy with client needs.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or quality engineering roles with focus on scale, repeatability, and leverage
- • Strong experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD, and integration validation
- • Strong scripting or coding skills
- • Experience working with data-intensive or workflow-heavy applications
- • Exposure to AI or LLM validation tooling or strong interest in building in that space
- • Ability to design frameworks, not just individual tests, and comfort setting standards that others adopt
