- • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality backend services and supporting systems for healthcare financial platforms serving 750+ payers and millions of providers and consumers.
- • Work across the full stack as needed to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions, including APIs, data stores, deployment pipelines, and user-facing components.
- • Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring, performance optimization, and operational health across cloud-based environments.
- • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- • Drive architectural decisions focused on scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability of core systems.
- • Improve engineering workflows by enhancing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure delivery using Infrastructure as Code principles and tooling.
- • Partner with engineering teams to diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues and system bottlenecks in real-time.
- • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance to elevate team-wide engineering standards.
- • Help establish and institutionalize best practices for operational readiness, observability, and service ownership across the engineering organization.
- • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and accelerate innovation in software delivery.
- • Contribute to building and maintaining backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch within a cloud-native AWS infrastructure.
- • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure automation and support service-oriented and distributed system architectures.
- • Ensure all systems meet operational standards for logging, metrics, and tracing to enable proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
- • Remain adaptable to evolving technical needs by engaging with frontend frameworks such as Angular when required to support full-stack delivery.
- • Actively participate in shaping the technical direction of the team and company through cross-functional leadership and advocacy for modern engineering practices.
- • Embrace a growth mindset and collaborate with cross-functional teams to challenge the status quo, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact using modern technology.
- • Operate in a hybrid or fully remote environment aligned with team objectives and company policies, with no requirement for in-office presence unless determined by leadership.
