- • Principal Software Engineer at Devoted Health, Inc., a mission-driven healthcare company focused on improving the health and well-being of older Americans through integrated technology, insurance, and clinical care.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building product features across Go, PostgreSQL, gRPC, GraphQL, React, React Native, TypeScript, Terraform, and AWS; collaborating with subject matter experts to design solutions that improve member experiences; and working with the technology team to enhance the platform’s reliability and scalability.
- • The engineering team comprises seasoned professionals from healthcare and technology backgrounds, including leadership with deep expertise from Athenahealth and U.S. government technology roles, fostering a culture of learning, humility, and innovation.
- • In this role, you will develop judgment to balance short- and long-term business value, deepen your expertise in complex systems, contribute to AI-integrated healthcare solutions, and grow as a technical leader in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as an individual technical contributor
- • Ability to thrive in a startup, fast-paced environment
- • Experience with Go, PostgreSQL, gRPC, GraphQL, React, React Native, TypeScript, Terraform, or AWS (a bonus, not required)
- • Comfort with uncertainty and a desire to be close to business problems
- • Understanding of multiple technologies down to first principles and a willingness to learn new things
