- • Design and architect scalable systems that power ZoomInfo’s internal AI platform and revenue engine, focusing on outbound sales automation and agentic workflows.
- • Lead architectural decisions that directly impact the efficiency and scalability of go-to-market (GTM) processes across the organization.
- • Stay at the forefront of AI and NLP advancements by conducting research, experimentation, and integration of emerging large language models such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Llama.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers to define the technical strategy for GTM Orchestration and Mesh, ZoomInfo’s internal AI platform.
- • Promote and enforce software engineering best practices including code reviews, system observability, performance optimization, and scalable microservice design.
- • Develop and maintain large-scale distributed data pipelines and backend systems that process high-volume signals for sales automation and intelligence.
- • Implement and optimize vector databases and embedding systems such as Pinecone and pgvector to support AI-driven search and recommendation capabilities.
- • Work extensively in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- • Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases including BigQuery, Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis to manage and query structured and unstructured data at scale.
- • Drive end-to-end ownership of complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision, navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced scaleup environment.
- • Mentor and foster the professional growth of junior and mid-level engineers through guidance, feedback, and career development support.
- • Communicate technical vision and strategy clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders to align cross-functional teams on priorities and outcomes.
- • Apply a bias towards action in problem-solving, making data-informed decisions under pressure to deliver high-impact results quickly.
- • Contribute to the evolution of the engineering culture by setting standards for reliability, maintainability, and innovation across the GTM Orchestration team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software development with a proven track record of building and scaling large-scale distributed systems and AI/NLP-powered products
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, or strong experience with Java, C#, or Python for backend development
- • Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, queues, and storage systems
- • Hands-on experience with natural language processing and large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama)
- • Experience with vector databases and embedding technologies such as Pinecone or pgvector
