• • As a Principal Solutions Architect at PTC, you will be at the forefront of transforming how companies operate by integrating the physical and digital worlds through our cutting-edge software solutions. This pivotal role sits within the customer success team, where your primary mission is to ensure the successful and timely implementation of PTC's Arena application, driving ultimate customer satisfaction.
• • You will engage with both new clients, guiding them through the initial setup and adoption of Arena, and existing customers, providing ongoing support, best-practice guidance, and driving deeper utilization of the platform.
• • This position demands a highly detail-oriented and process-driven individual capable of expertly managing multiple implementation projects concurrently, ensuring each is delivered with precision and efficiency.
• • Confidence and autonomy are key; you will be expected to independently manage the delivery of implementation services, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to collaborate and assist other team members whenever needed.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve presenting the Arena application to prospective and current customers, showcasing functional expertise, and offering pragmatic, insightful guidance on various implementation options, including a clear articulation of the pros and cons associated with each approach.
• • You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving complex data and process issues that arise during the implementation phase, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the Arena application for our clients.
• • Leading multiple successful implementations will be a core responsibility, encompassing comprehensive project management, meticulous configuration and installation of the software, effective data migration strategies, and delivering impactful customer training sessions.
• • A critical function involves analyzing and mapping customer business requirements to align perfectly with implementation objectives, ensuring that the deployed solution directly addresses their unique needs and strategic goals.
• • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Arena PLM application's functional architecture, its various modules, and its extensive features is paramount. This deep knowledge will be leveraged to provide expert advice and solutions.
• • You will collaborate closely with other members of the customer success team, translating your profound understanding of the Arena PLM application and its optimal usage patterns into valuable educational content for the broader Arena customer base, fostering a community of empowered users.
• • This role requires a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ECAD/MCAD/Product Data Management (PDM), Engineering Change Management (ECM), and Document Management Systems (DMS).
• • You will leverage your experience in implementing SaaS software solutions, coupled with a general knowledge of relational databases and reporting application solutions, to deliver robust and scalable implementations.
• • Strong presentation skills, coupled with proven project planning and scoping experience, are essential for effectively communicating complex technical information and managing project lifecycles.
• • A demonstrated passion for people and a commitment to exceptional customer service will be fundamental to your success in this client-facing role.
• • The ideal candidate will possess a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Operation, or a closely related field, bringing a strong technical foundation to the role.
• • With a minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in consulting and software solution implementation, you will bring a wealth of practical knowledge and a track record of successful project delivery.
• • A mandatory manufacturing background in High Tech, Medical Device, or Consumer Packaged Goods industries is required, providing essential context for understanding client challenges and solutions.
• • Essential Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience is a prerequisite for this position, enabling you to effectively architect and implement Arena solutions.
