đź“‹ Description
- • As a Principal Solution Consultant for Model Based Product Line Engineering (MBPLE) at PTC Inc., you will serve as a senior technical expert driving pre-sales engagements for complex enterprise solutions in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical devices. Your role is critical in bridging technical depth with business value, enabling customers to adopt PTC’s ALM and MBSE platforms—Codebeamer, Pure Variants, and integrated MBSE tools—to improve product development lifecycle efficiency, compliance, and innovation velocity.
- • Day to day, you will develop and deliver customized technical presentations and demonstrations of Codebeamer and Pure Variants, including integrations with Windchill and third-party MBSE solutions like Catia Magic, tailored for both technical and executive audiences. You will plan and lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and technical workshops focused on PLE processes, methods, and tooling, acting as a solution architect for customer engagements while collaborating with partners, solution centers, and R&D teams to ensure alignment and technical feasibility.
- • You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success Management (CSM), Product Management, R&D, and Support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences from initial engagement through onboarding and long-term success. This includes supporting the sales team in qualifying opportunities, developing technical responses to RFIs and RFPs, and advising on potential solutions or alternatives to address customer challenges in highly regulated environments.
- • You will represent PLE initiatives at key internal and external North American events, often alongside customers, and stay current on industry trends in systems engineering, INCOSE standards, DevOps practices, and domain-specific compliance requirements such as DO-178C, ARP4754, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and SOTIF for aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale PLE and MBSE implementations, influence product strategy through field feedback, and mentor junior consultants while contributing to the growth of PTC’s global PLE expert team. You will gain visibility across global stakeholders and play a pivotal role in shaping how leading manufacturers adopt digital thread and model-based approaches to product development.

- • Hands-on experience with Pure Variants, Catia Magic, and Codebeamer, or similar ALM/PLM and MBSE tools
- • Proven success supporting, building, or operating implementations in highly regulated industries such as Defense, Aerospace, and Automotive
