  • • As a Principal Solutions Engineer for Key Accounts at Okta, you will be a pivotal technical sales strategist, operator, and business partner, directly supporting Okta’s Account Directors in the Americas (AMER) Key Accounts segment. Your primary mission is to accelerate strategic deals, scale key pursuits, and enable repeatable success within this critical customer segment, focusing specifically on the Auth0 platform.
  • • You will operate at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic business insight, acting as a trusted advisor to both internal sales teams and external customers. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex challenges, crafting tailored solutions, and ensuring customer success through the effective application of Okta's identity and AI-enabled solutions.
  • • A core responsibility will be to lead Auth0 pursuit strategies for selected large, multi-stakeholder deals. This involves deep engagement with Account Directors, Auth0 Account Executives, Key Account Solutions Engineers, GTM leadership, and product stakeholders to define and execute winning strategies.
  • • You will be instrumental in building and operationalizing repeatable Auth0 sales motions. This includes developing and implementing effective partner strategies and AI-enabled sales plays designed to enhance deal velocity and win rates.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve scaling and institutionalizing best practices across the Key Accounts segment. This means identifying what works, documenting it, and ensuring its widespread adoption to improve overall sales performance and predictability.
  • • You will serve as a trusted advisor to Okta’s Key Account Directors and sales leadership, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to execute Auth0-centric go-to-market strategies for high-impact pursuits. This requires a deep understanding of both the Auth0 platform and the strategic objectives of our key clients.
  • • You will assist in developing robust frameworks and methodologies that increase consistency and predictability across complex strategic deal cycles. This involves analyzing deal patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to streamline the sales process.
  • • Collaboration with the Office of the Field CTO (FCTO) is essential. You will work closely with them to align AI and platform sales narratives with current market trends, ensuring our messaging is relevant, compelling, and addresses emerging customer needs.
  • • You will support the planning and execution of AI-driven and enterprise-scale sales initiatives across key industries and territories. This requires a forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI in sales strategies.
  • • A key aspect of this role is guiding account teams on value-based selling strategies. You will help them connect Auth0's identity solutions to measurable business outcomes, demonstrating tangible ROI for our customers.
  • • You will engage actively with industry and partner ecosystems to promote Okta’s leadership in AI-enabled identity sales. This involves building relationships and representing Okta at relevant forums.
  • • You will represent Okta in field events, customer summits, and strategic planning forums, acting as a subject matter expert and thought leader.
  • • Fostering collaboration across Global Go-To-Market (GTM) teams is crucial for enhancing pipeline growth and ensuring field readiness. You will act as a bridge between different teams to ensure alignment and shared success.
  • • You will engage in strategic initiatives that enhance Okta’s competitive differentiation and accelerate long-term growth. This involves staying ahead of market shifts and identifying new opportunities.
  • • A critical function is to surface field insights and customer trends to inform global GTM strategy and product roadmap alignment. Your feedback loop to product and strategy teams will be invaluable.
  • • You will leverage your deep technical expertise in Auth0 and Auth0 FGA / OpenFGA to architect and present solutions that address complex customer requirements, particularly in the realm of customer identity and AI applications.
  • • You will develop and deliver C-level messaging that clearly articulates the Auth0 value proposition through compelling business outcomes, translating technical capabilities into strategic advantages for our clients.
  • • Your role will involve utilizing AI tools to build Proof of Concept (POC) artifacts, accelerating deal cycles and demonstrating the power of Auth0's capabilities in practical scenarios.
  • • You will contribute to technical events and presentations, sharing your expertise and insights with both internal teams and external audiences.
  • • You will be a key player in driving pursuit discipline, storytelling excellence, and deal orchestration within the Key Accounts segment, ensuring a high level of professionalism and effectiveness in all sales engagements.
