- • Lead end-to-end program management across software domains including machine learning, kernel, compiler, runtime, and tools.
- • Coordinate delivery across globally distributed engineering teams in North America, India, Serbia, and Australia.
- • Implement agile practices tailored to a fast-paced, scaling startup environment with high-growth engineering demands.
- • Define and deploy metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems to track program health and project delivery progress.
- • Develop standardized playbooks and best practices for program management to be adopted across the global software organization.
- • Translate product and business objectives into executable engineering programs with clear timelines and deliverables.
- • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to software delivery schedules, quality, and cross-team dependencies.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between software engineering teams and senior leadership, delivering clear, data-driven updates and strategic insights.
- • Collaborate with product, hardware, and external partner teams to align on dependencies and ensure synchronized execution.
- • Establish scalable program management processes that support growth to over 300 engineers while maintaining predictability and quality.
- • Drive improvements in planning accuracy and forecasting across all software projects through structured execution frameworks.
- • Enhance cross-team coordination by fostering communication and alignment among geographically dispersed engineering groups.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the software development lifecycle and apply agile methodologies in a hybrid, high-output environment.
- • Utilize Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and integrated project toolchains to manage workflows and ensure transparency.
- • Work onsite at the Santa Clara, CA headquarters 3–5 days per week in a hybrid model.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer, engineering manager, or technical program manager, with at least 3 years specifically as a technical program manager in software development
- • Educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field
- • Proven track record managing distributed, multi-region engineering teams across North America, India, Serbia, and Australia
- • Experience at companies with complex software/hardware integration
- • Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and project toolchain integration
- • Strong understanding of software lifecycle and agile methodologies
