  • • As a Principal Technical Solution Consultant (Fraud) at Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), you will serve as a hands-on technical expert in the Professional Services team, contributing to the implementation, integration, and support of FICO’s Fraud technology platform and related applications/tools/services. You will work closely with product development, product management, and sales/pre-sales teams to deliver significant value to clients by providing deep technical expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and mitigation solutions. Your role involves requirements analysis, solution architecture and design, leading development and implementation of cloud, web, and service applications on the FICO Platform, assisting in integration with client IT systems and third-party services, leading architecture and design of cloud-enabled products while balancing technical and business factors, empowering distributed and remote development teams through framework implementations and knowledge sharing, supporting strategy and best practices development, troubleshooting critical issues in distributed architectures, driving complex technical projects from planning to execution, nurturing engineering teams with architecture and design best practices, promoting innovation in technologies and processes, collaborating with engineering leadership to validate solutions, and participating in Enterprise Architecture (EA) initiatives.

  • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • • Extensive software engineering background with proven experience in developing enterprise-scale web- or cloud-based commercial software products.
  • • Proficiency in Java development, particularly with standard Java application frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker technologies.
  • • Demonstrated experience in designing, programming, and implementing large distributed systems using microservices architectures.
  • • Background in technical leadership roles across front-end and back-end development stacks.
  • • Practical experience with Data Engineering tools including Apache Kafka, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and in-memory datastores such as Redis.
  • • Solid understanding of Cloud Native and Microservices architectural principles and fundamentals.
  • • Proven ability to conduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of complex technological systems.
  • • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Jenkins), and Agile methodologies including JIRA.
  • • Expertise in authoring, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation, including technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and sequence/flow diagrams.
  • • Strong skills in software design, mentoring, and peer review of designs and code.
  • • Ability to collaborate effectively within geographically diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
