📋 Description

• • As a Prior Authorization Specialist at Ascertain, you will process prior authorizations at high volume while serving as a go-to resource for team members, with the role evolving into a hybrid operations + technology position as workflows become automated through Ascertain’s AI platform.
• • You will review and verify insurance information and patient eligibility, communicate with hospital and post-acute providers to gather documentation, submit requests via Epic-based workflows, monitor and track authorizations, respond to inquiries, maintain detailed records, troubleshoot complex cases involving care transitions, collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows, and stay current on payer policies and Epic updates.
• • Ascertain is building AI agents to automate administrative work in healthcare, backed by Northwell Health and Deerfield Management, with a mission to restore time, trust, and focus to care teams by driving financial resilience and operational clarity in strained health systems.
