- ⢠The Private Capital Solutions Relationship Manager supports the Fund Finance group in growing deposits, loans, and fee income by managing client relationships and driving new business opportunities in the private equity and venture capital sectors.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client portfolios, conducting financial analysis and underwriting, monitoring client compliance and financial health, coordinating cross-functional onboarding, and developing referral networks to enhance the bankās market presence.
- ⢠The role operates within SouthState Bankās Fund Finance team, part of a growing financial institution with deep community roots and a commitment to relationship-based banking, innovation, and employee development.
- ⢠The individual will develop expertise in fund finance, credit analysis, treasury services cross-selling, and relationship management while contributing to portfolio profitability and client prosperity in the PE/VC industry.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Minimum Bachelorās degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- ⢠Minimum two (2) years of experience in commercial banking, financial services, or PE/Venture fund roles, preferably in portfolio management, treasury services, risk management, auditing, or underwriting
- ⢠Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong organizational skills
- ⢠Sound credit and risk management judgment with knowledge of financial statement analysis and client cash flow cycles
- ⢠Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives (CEO, CFO, VP Finance) and participate in senior-level client calls
- ⢠Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements
