- • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the organization's procure-to-pay (P2P) platform, ensuring accurate and standardized contract, item master, vendor, and pricing data across all ambulatory surgery centers.
- • Maintain and optimize purchasing workflows by partnering with GPOs, distributors, and internal stakeholders to manage pricing updates, contract changes, and system-driven purchasing processes.
- • Monitor P2P processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality through systematic improvements and automation opportunities.
- • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchasing, pricing, and system functionality to ensure financial accuracy and compliance across the enterprise.
- • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures and workflows to ensure enterprise-wide consistency in procurement practices.
- • Support the onboarding and integration of new ambulatory surgery centers into the P2P system, ensuring seamless adoption and alignment with existing processes.
- • Create and distribute reports, dashboards, and analytical insights that provide visibility into supply costs, purchasing activity, and process performance metrics.
- • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and center-level teams to improve procurement effectiveness, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain visibility.
- • Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to users across the organization on P2P system functionality, best practices, and procedural updates.
- • Act as the central point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and system issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous user adoption.
- • Drive process standardization and scalability initiatives to support the growth of Compass Surgical Partners’ nationwide network of ASC joint ventures.
- • Ensure all procurement data and workflows comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements specific to healthcare operations.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data integrity, reduce errors, and increase efficiency in the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle.
- • Work independently in a remote environment to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct supervision.
- • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, process changes, and vendor communications to support audit readiness and knowledge transfer.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain administration, materials management, or a related healthcare operations role
- • Experience working within a healthcare provider organization, ambulatory surgery center, hospital, or healthcare services environment
- • Experience supporting or administering electronic procurement or procure-to-pay systems
- • Strong understanding of purchasing workflows, item master management, pricing administration, and supply chain operations
- • Advanced Excel and data management skills with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvement
- • Ability to communicate effectively with operational, clinical, financial, and vendor stakeholders
