Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Build end-to-end product solutions from idea to engineering-ready prototype using AI tools as primary accelerants, without relying on traditional requirements documentation.
- • Frame product problems by synthesizing customer feedback, usage data, and business goals into precise problem statements and AI-generated PRDs and user stories within hours, not days.
- • Validate problem framing asynchronously with stakeholders before initiating any build, ensuring alignment without dependency on synchronous meetings.
- • Create clickable low-fidelity prototypes using AI design tools constrained to Extreme’s platform design system, or develop functional, production-grade builds using AI coding tools, real APIs, and synthetic data.
- • Determine the appropriate level of fidelity for each problem—whether a prototype to align direction or a working build to de-risk engineering assumptions before full development.
- • Simulate realistic platform states using synthetic data to generate live-looking dashboards, alert flows with real trigger logic, and configuration screens with accurate response shapes.
- • Demonstrate solutions through working builds and prototypes, not written descriptions, to elicit authentic stakeholder and customer feedback.
- • Surface edge cases, design conflicts, and open questions proactively before handing off to engineering teams to prevent rework and ambiguity.
- • Lock clear, unambiguous acceptance criteria and link specifications directly to design system components before passing to the engineering queue.
- • Ensure all deliverables pass the UX Quality Gate, including design fidelity, accessibility, and cross-service consistency, reviewed by UX and Design Systems teams.
- • Partner closely with UX, Design Systems, QA, and Platform Engineering teams to transition features from prototype to production.
- • Participate in regular cross-domain reviews to identify feature overlap, pattern conflicts, and opportunities for standardization.
- • Start by owning one feature through the full five-phase workflow—Discover & Frame, Build, UX Quality Gate, Engineering Handoff, and Build & Validate—to prove the process before scaling.
- • Deliver production-ready specifications that meet the User Experience quality gate with zero ambiguity, enabling engineering teams to execute without clarification cycles.
- • Use AI tools including Claude, Pendo, Perplexity, v0, Figma AI, Framer, Claude Code, and Cursor as everyday equipment for drafting, prototyping, and coding.
- • Operate independently in a remote-first environment, driving progress without waiting for meetings or approvals to move work forward.
- • Maintain exceptional written communication skills to ensure clarity in asynchronous updates, specifications, and stakeholder alignment.
- • Apply Agile delivery methodologies with a deep understanding of what constitutes an engineering-ready specification.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Associate Product Management, Solutions Engineering, or a product-adjacent role
- • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured, actionable artifacts
- • Hands-on experience with at least one AI prototyping tool (v0, Claude, Figma AI, Framer, or similar)
- • Comfort building functional working prototypes using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) connected to APIs and synthetic data
- • Strong written communication skills for a remote-first team
- • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and engineering-ready specifications
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tools as core components of the product development workflow
- • Direct impact on Extreme Networks’ enterprise-grade network management platform
- • Collaborative environment with UX, Design Systems, QA, and Engineering teams
- • Remote-first culture with asynchronous work flexibility
